TESTING

Three specimens, as received, from both length and cross directions, were conditioned and tested in accordance with Clause 2.2 (b) of the above Specification using a 12 second flame application time. The results obtained are shown in the Table below

The Average Combined after-fIame and after-glow time is 1.5 seconds, and the Average Burn Length is 11mm.

The above test has been carried out in compliance with the clients order and the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority. The test results do not in any way confer approval of the quality of manufacture of the material.

CONCLUSION

The sample tested meets the requirements of CAA Spec 8 (Vertical Test) and FAR/JAR 25853a, Appendix F, Part 1.
